Image result for tiger chasing     A Tiger Chasing A Chicken

Mrs Chester showed the class a picture of a tiger chasing a chicken.  We  discussed what we noticed and shared our thoughts about what was happening in the picture.   We then composed sentences that we might use to begin our writing.  Here are some of the  wonderful sentences we composed.

Tiger is chasing the white hen.

The tiger is trying to catch the chicken.

The tiger is chasing the chicken because he wants to eat her.

The chicken is faster than the tiger.

The tiger is getting close.

The tiger and the white rooster are running.

The hungry tiger is wanting to eat the chicken and he is ready to pounce.

The chicken is ahead of the tiger.

The tiger is faster than the chicken.

The tiger is hungry.  His tummy is rumbling.

The white hen is running.  The tiger is catching up.

The tiger is close behind the white hen.

The tiger is racing so fast that the tiger cannot catch up.
