We are a class at New Windsor School from Auckland, New Zealand. We learn, create and share around our school values be respectful, be responsible and be the best we can be.
Today we participated in a powhiri to welcome new students, families and staff.
Whaea Mere did a karanga (call) to welcome the new comers into the auditorium.
We listened to some speakers, sang some waiata and watched people give hongi.
